The Nail Game

Just let me introduce myself, my business, my club, and my reason for building this site. 

• My name: Topaz Woodruff owner of The Nail Cabaret in Charlotte NC.  I am also into Nail Tech Marketing; however, that story is on my other ventures page. 

Let me give you a little background on the Nail Cabaret located in Charlotte, North Carolina.  Music and nail services go hand in hand at The Nail Cabaret.  Relax to mellow jazz, smooth r & b, or just chit chat with some old school hip-hop, or go-go while getting your nail services.  Whatever your pleasure, I will try to make the accommodation while giving A-1 customer service and providing healthy nail care.  I (Topaz Woodruff) would not have it any other way.  Charlotte NC, now has someone who can design your nails the way you want them not a pre-designed template on a board.

Topaz Woodruff one of Charlotte NC's Premier Black Nail Artisans.  25 years of experience, Topaz is licensed in MD, DC, VA, and NC.  This DC native has a vivid imagination and God given talent, you will leave the salon with a one-of-a-kind nail art design.  Adding a little bit of DC style and Detroit Flare, your nails will make a statement without you having to say "HELLO".  If you want something Sassy, Chic, or Unique, check out Topaz and let her bring out your fabulous side. Topaz Woodruff has been doing nails every since she was a little girl in DC.  At the age of twelve, her aunt saw that she had a talent for drawing on her fingernails.  Her aunt put her to work in her salon in D.C. during the summer months, and taught her how to apply acrylic enhancements and tea bag nail wraps (known as fiber wraps today). Topaz believes in education for natural nail care, and proper sanitation and disinfection for ALL implements, files, buffer blocks, and especially pedicure stations. 

Topaz has her certification for using the ‘e-file' (drill) from V-Tran.  She has competed  and placed in nail competitions, and she is also a Charlotte Area Mentor to new Nail Techs in the industry. 

Topaz started the Black Knights of the Nail Table-Nail Tech Alliance.  This association is striving to bring "Americans" back into owning the industry, while teaching marketing, salon etiquette, proper procedures, and customer service.   Keeping busy in the industry Topaz is also an NC State Board approve CEU Instructor for U 2 Can do Nail Art.
