When I first got started in social internet marketing for nails, I did not start out well - I had very few skills that could help me in this industry, I followed an untested marketing plan, and didn't have enough conviction and belief in my brand I was attempting to market. About the only thing I came into social marketing with that helped me to keep working was my determination and persistence. Also - I didn't know about how facebook could really amp up my business. I sure wish I would have, but because I had to learn a lot the hard way before being introduced to facebook events, ads and group pages, I really appreciate what we have here and I am passionate about helping others avoid the mistakes I made.

Through facebook advertising, I came across a guy who asked if I had ever read "The Science of Getting Rich"? I had seen the ads for it and the Secret by Rhonda Bryne all over the internet but I kept passing it over. I finally decided to download the books based on this guy's recommendation. I also purchased The Secret DVD.

A month passed and I finally decided to read the book on my iPhone. After being beaten up and kicked around, I was skeptical. But I could not put the book down. I immediately felt the relief. My LACK of Success was NOT my Fault!

I called the man who had recommended the book. I jumped on the facebook "band wagon" when I saw how easy it was to post ads about The Nail Cabaret, I knew I had found the system and social network that could grow my business. I also began to network OUTSIDE of my industry.

With the book and 3+ ads posted a week, how could I not have Success? It gave me a proven duplicatable system to build my nail business.

• Next project will be a large scale Nail Tech Networking event for about 500 nail techs.
• A Black Knights of the Nail Table retreat. 
• A nail tech educational cruise.
• Organized group meeting at a Premiere Show (Orlando or Birmingham).
• Organize a park event to give more exposure to the black nail techs here in the Charlotte area.
